Abstract

This study aims to explore the aspects and features of cognitive integration between Arabic grammar and the principles of Islamic jurisprudence through the works of Imam Al-Shafi‘i, particularly his renowned book Al-Risala. The research highlights the strong and interconnected relationship between these two disciplines, characterized by mutual influence and interaction. It emphasizes the essential role of the Arabic language, especially grammar, in understanding legal texts and deriving Islamic rulings.

The study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology. The findings confirm that grammar is essential for understanding legal texts and ensures accurate derivation of rulings.
